Kings of antiquity are largely centralized, in all aspects of life refers to the single authority of the Maharaja. Each Duchy is required to give tribute to the kingdom, do not try this if you refuse to pay tribute not want to overrun and destroyed. Life of the King became a major concern of the subjects at the time, until the place was already prepared pemakakannya far-distant day when the king was still alive.
Grandeur and awesomeness seems to be one when we saw the tombs of the kings of Mataram in Imogiri. Imogiri tomb was built in 1632 AD by the Sultan of Mataram Hanyokrokusumo King III who is a descendant of King of Mataram Panembahan Senopati I. Imogiri tomb is located in the south of Yogyakarta - about 45 minutes to the south trip using their own vehicle, or can also be reached by minibus from Jogja directly to the front entrance of the tomb. The tomb is located on the hills which are also still one cluster with a Thousand Mountains. Entering the parking lot to get to the cemetery we will be greeted by the Tour Guide who is ready to take us.
After the tour continues towards the tomb entrance on the left there is a quite magnificent mosque. The mosque is used for mensholatkan bodies of the king of the hill before it was taken up for burial. When I looked up this leg pegalnya had imagined to be some 454 steps up the ladder. In fact, 454 of these stairs up and down the plain traversed by the Tour Guide every day 3-4 times. After passing the 454 stairs and then we just go door-to-II, the second door there are three wards: the first is the Ward Sapit Urang-wards used by the Yogyakarta palace courtiers, the second is for the Noble Ward Hamengkubuwono Jogja and the third is the Ward Pakubuwono to the Duke of Kraton Solo. As we know Praise be to Allaah during Amangkurat V (1677) Mataram has finally made the split and the split Giyanti Agreement so Mataram II, namely Kasunanan Pakubuwono (Solo) and Kasunanan Hamengkubuwono (Yogyakarta).
burial place is still subdivided into three sections, the main tomb; the tomb of King Sri Paduka Sultan Hanyokrokusumo, Amangkurat II, and III Amangkurat each a queen. The left wing consists of; Pakubuwono I, Amangkurat Jawi and Pakubuwono III. The right wing consists of: Queen-queen solo, Pakubuwono III and empress and concubines.
